Update: pictures of minis being sent to Tara

Hi Everyone, I have posted pictures of the 4 cabinets I have finished so far for Tara's Shop. The little fairy cabinets have cute bottles on the bottom shelf when you open the doors. The country cabinet has a really nice tea set on it's bottom shelf when you open the doors. The bottom doors on the 4th of July cabinet do not open due to the large Stars on the doors. I will be packing them up today and my husband will mail them out tomorrow morning. I still have one cabinet I have to finish, but, I thought I would get these out for the time being. Besides, I needed to get Tara's Mother's Day gift mailed so she will get it on time. So, here are the 4 pictures and please remember, Tara takes much, much better pictures than I do. Update for all my Blogging Friends

Hi Everyone,

I thought I would bring you up to date on what has been going on. First off, I have had a rough 3 weeks with my health and had to take time off to rest. I went in for a "normal" spinal tap, which is 1 poke, about 30 minutes and your out of there. Well, no one said that I was "normal". An hour and a half later, 8 numbing shots, and 8 times with that big a__ needle in TWO different area's they finally were able to get the three tubes of spinal fluid they needed - UUUGGG!!!! :-( My husband waiting out in the lobby was pacing the floors and knew that something wasn't right. Well, I was down and out for some time after that, but, I am up and running now.

I told Tara last week that I was working on 5 items for her shop. I have completed 4 of the 5 and this week I will finish the 5 one and get everything shipped out to her. I will post pictures of the items the day that I mail them to Tara. That way you can see them before they go into the shop, just incase you want one of them - you can email Tara and let her know.

As for my shop "HauntedMansionJewels", I really have not added any new items just yet. I wanted to get Tara's finished first. However, I am running a special right now. It is the Mother's Day Special and you get 10% off any item in the store. You only need to type "MOTHERSDAY" in the coupon code and it will automatically calculate it for you.

Well, I think I have brought you up to date now and I am back on track with everything. So keep an eye out for new items I make for Tara's Shop and for my shop.

My Jewelry Shop Update

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am running a March Madness Sale in honor of my 63rd Birthday. I have lowered my prices and added a 10% checkout coupon for everyone. On Vacation

Hi to Everyone,

Well, if you have visited my shop or Tara's Blog, you would have seen that I am on vacation visiting my wonderful daughter-in-law, Tara. I am having a wonderful time here. My darling grandchildren have just grown bigger since I was here last September. I try to come at least 3 times a year to visit.

If you read Tara's Blog, you would have found out that I have been teaching her how to knit. :) She did really good for the first time trying. Then I tried to teach Adrianna, my granddaughter, and she caught on pretty quick. While they were learning how to knit, I was crocheting Adrianna a scarf. It's about 4 1/2 feet long and I thought I would add another 1/2 foot to make sure she doesn't out grow it too quickly. I will be putting tassles on it and then 3 roses on each end just to make it pretty for her. I will have enough of the yarn left over to make her a cute hat with roses on it too.

Today, is my 63rd birthday and I reduced the prices in my shop, HauntedMansionJewels and also includes a March Madness coupon for 10% off for the rest of March. This is my birthday present to all my Blog Buddies out there.

I will be leaving on Sunday, March 18th and going back home to Phoenix, Arizona. Should anyone decide to purchase any items in the store, I will ship them out just ASAP when I get back. It is always so hard leaving, as it seems like an eternaty until I get to come back again. But, I make the most of it while I am hear and I try to spoil all of them before I leave.

When I get back home, I will be taking new pictures of my items, as the pictures that I have now, just aren't doing the items any justice at all.

Well, guess I will get back to crocheting, as Adrianna is anxious to see it all finished so that she can wear it to school. Thank you all for stopping in and checking my blog. If you check Tara's blog, she has put up some pictures of me showing Adrianna how to knit and also she has updated her projects with new pictures. The detail, seen in person, is just beautiful. She has really worked hard and she is such a profectionist to boot. ;-) She really puts her whole heart and soul in each of her projects.

New store is now open

I have a New Store opening soon!

Hi Everyone,

Just to let all of you know, I have a new store opening soon. Tara and I have talking and I would like to persue a passion of mine - making jewelry. The name of the store is HauntedMansionJewels which is a really neat name. My lovely daughter-in-law, Tara, came up with the name and put everything together for me as I am totally NOT computer savey. I have more jewelry I made other than just the ones listed below and I am in seventh heaven with it. I have been into jewelry and gems for over the past 17 years and have made items for my friends and family. I love wire wrapping and intergrating semi precious gems into my jewelry. I hope that you will stop by and check out my creations. We are still taking pictures and trying to set things up right now and should have items in the store reallly soon. I will still be making minis with Tara in between making jewelry.
